hi, I am ob juan's surrogate...
please digest the following regiment before beginning any serious climbing program. run 10 miles at 105% RHR. divide the 9th participle by 4 master's degrees and no climbing experience to formulate said hypotheses. if your basal metabol-lugy is in the 68th percentile, please resist the urge to actually train on real rock. only seasoned professional need engage in such a strenuous program.
if this fails, you are a self absorbed SOB...go climb with Sikmonkey and down the margaritas.

So what are you doing Saturday?
pigsteak wrote:accountability..pfffft..a poor excuse for having no self discipline. if you won't train, you never were a climber. give me the holds on your wall and take up some cheesey hobby like going to see bands.
Oh I got self discipline, just in all the wrong things. Besides I can't become some band groupie. I mean I like live music and all, but I'm not down with the whole Dead Head, trustafarian Phish head, trip out at the tie dyed sheet behind Steve Kimmock thing (sorry Charlie). Besides its a lot of work to switch hobbies. I'd have to sell my gear, part with my 1993 model climbing shoes and buy going to see band stuff. My jeans are too new and I just don't look good in tie-dye.

Figured that would be your response...too easy.
I thought maybe my stupid ass post would solicit hints on how to be a hippie or something. When to mix the shrooms with the bourbon, how to get in with the roadies to get backstage, the best mics for taping, all that stuff I have no clue about.

Like you don't know. Go see the live music, every time, all the time, and dance. It really is that simple.
Or, just check my calendar.....
