come on..95% of folks celebrate it because it is a free vacation day.

Here in Lexington the biggest Christian Church around is closing on Christmas. Here is a link to some of the editorials written about this decision.

kind of no-win for the chruches. if they are open, people complain that the church workers don't get to spend time with their families. if they close, they are questioned about their faith. if you'll notice, all churches in that article are having christma eve services.
this sounds like a good one for alan irritating and piggie to fight over....except with his cursing around my favorite holiday, I am guessing Baby Jesus will be putting coal in his menorrah.

I heard on the radio that Lowe's had advertised their Christmas trees as "Holiday Trees" this year. I wonder if the sold menorrahs but called them Holiday Candelabras?
