It was the really bright rope that make me look hot. Although, it is getting kinda dirty now. Wonder if I will break down and wash it ever?
Route? More like routes , but I am not actually bitter though. Just amused at myself. And the route names? Hmm, would listing them be kinda like spraying? Piggie, can I get a ruling on that?
Actually, I am one falling Mercy, Tissue, Wild Gift, Infectious, and Herd Mentality. They all feel so close, yet so very far away. I think I need to start climbing 5.13's to be able to send the mid .12's.

I think you need to start taking some rest days.

I am trapped in bills and payments and stuff I don't need. I need to get rid of it all and live in a cave at the red.

Sometimes we get all focused wrapped up in things... and take wippers.
My best climb to date: having my belayer making me laugh histerically through the crux with comments like:
"hummm, that's interesting..."
"was that a cigarette or a pro in your last placement?..."

So, climbing 4 out of the last 5 days and 13 out of the last 18 is to much? Maybe so, I
am taking the next couple days off though. Really.

wes,
here is your ruling:
by even starting this thread, you are guilty of subtle spray. you wanted the masses to oooh and aaah over your near sends, and give you a pat on the back or a kick in the ass....GUILTY
since you indeed did post the route names, you have elevated yourself to a higher plateau. you realize that spray is part of the game, and that by cloaking it in false humility you would really show your ego as the owner of your soul. but by boldly putting those route names up for the world to scrutinize, and realizing that uninformed elitists would criticize you for not following the "rules", you have informed everyone that chasing the grades is your goal, and you are okay with that. now go get a group hug. your therapy is working, and I am proud of you.

Hey man, I always thought that if I climb easy routes for a day or two then those could be considered rest days.

pigsteak, Chasing numbers isn't the goal, but chasing difficulty might be. Or maybe those are really just the same thing?
