Bouldering Comp, Jan. 29th, Rocksport in Louisville

It was my understanding from last year that you had to be a member to compete. ABS rules or something. My son wanted to compete but had to become a member first.

Don't know if it applies to this year or not.

Id just like to say thanks to everyone for being so supportive today... the stuff the worked the comp really enjoyed having you all around and there is a new energy and life that has hit rocksport. All of you rock and hope to see you all sometime in the future and thank you all in person.

Yeah super fun super cool super duper!!! Lots of people went which was surprising from the road conditions...although...one complaint...not a lot of middle weight problems....either hard beginner or hard...unless my level of climbing has increased that much that what I was on was intermediate...

Now we can finally get some new routes on clean holds. Some of the routes that came down were up long enough to be in a guidebook

Longlegsrule kicked some serious butt. It's the first time I've seen her climb and she was all over the problems.

Don't fool yourself LLR, you were climbing strong. You are correct about there being some touch problems but you did really well.

Ah yes...I believe I remember seeing a monstrously tall skinny chick now. And I commented on how cute that little Asian girl was. Geoff...you shoulda pointed LLR out to me!
