overhung - what's the "Category" of your novella. I'll gladly read it! I've been looking for something new and interesting to read too.

Asde from the previously mentioned venture into, or BACK into the porn industry (my account was hijacked, I swear) I would definitely get back to writing and work on my abondoned project of a collection of short stories.

It's slowly turning into a short novel. It's about an eclectic group of climbers who develop a community. Based on my job and characters/events on this board. I can email it to you if you like.

No, only acted/danced other than the one time I was a student director for a high school show.

If you sell the idea and it becomes well received and money is made from it are you going to give back to the community? You know, you don't want to mess with a bunch of overarcheivers with short tempers and lots of rope. Good luck.

I started climbing in 1998 and spent almost all of my free time in 2000 & 2001 climbing. I started dividing my time between backpacking, climbing and EMS in 2002 and it made me enjoy each of them more. If I had to stop doing those things I would learn to play the guitar and learn how to fly.

Yeah overhung....I'll pm ya my email. sounds interesting...Joe tried to convince me once that he was a figment of my imagination - created out of spending toooo much time on this board...I believed him for a minute, he made it sound really convincing...and an over active imagination will let you believe things like that.......I hope you're short novel doesn't play into my Joe-created psychosis.......that would be way to weird.

anyway.....I feel I've said too much...

I rediscovered how much swimming kicks ass today. That's something else I'd put more time into if I didn't climb. It's pretty hypnotic, and leaves your upper body feeling nice and worked.

Since there are 4 seasons, the ideal place for me would provide:
Summer: Kayaking / Diving (both ocean)
Fall: Biking (road and mountain) / Kayaking
Winter: Skiing, and ski mountaineering
Spring: Cleaning house...

If only one activity: I would opt for ski mountaineering - any day, everyday, without a doubt. I can see myself doing this until I am 88 years old.

What about climbing? You don't have climbing on that list!
