For the record, one of the latest accomplishments of Team Safety is that we "unleashed our fury on Castleton Tower". We're pretty sure that our trip to Utah and parts will eliminate that Western Bias that kept the GPA from our grasp last year.
Ray promised us a banner on this site too. I'm gonna have to start flirting with Artsay again.

Johnny, I am sure that the 3,496th send of the north chimmeny will place you high on the voters scorecards for sure. Still, you need some pics doing something *rad* like highlining or OW roof climbing. Maybe speed climbing the quest, car to car. Or the first one day link up of jungle beat, nevermore and the quest. That is what will push you all over the hump, and into first place.

You know how some of those Western climbers have a Half Dome or El Cap day? You know, climbing enough pitches in a day to equal the length of those crags? I'm thinking Team Safety could work up to a Tower Rock day. One day last spring we actually did 4 pitches in a single day, but didn't measure it so I'm not sure if it would have qualified. If we do a car to car Tower Rock Day do you think it would put us over the top? It can't be like Long Wall or something with a bad approach though. I was thinking maybe the Arena area. I suppose we should videotape it too. I'll give Jeff a call.
