Hell no! I ain't nobody's teacher and nobody's momma! (That's why I broke up with the last two unfortunate schmucks who got involved with me...they never knew what hit them.)
And in regards to pigsteak's comment about Miguel's being the slum, I would really ask him to go spend a night in a real slum and then report back to us about that experience. No P.C. crap there, just saying I think there are better comparisons to be used. I much prefer Wes's analogy with the second Woodstock. A heck of a lot of people, a heck of a lot of free time and an overwhelming desire to enjoy life. (But that doesn't mean we have to be rude.)

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

meetVA..."slum" is a figure of speech brah..sorry to not be PC enough for you. look at the state campgrounds a quarter of a mile down the road. for a group of 4, the cost is exactly the same to stay there, the showers are hot, and it is removed from the road a bit...bet none of you ever ran down there and "stole" a shower, now did ya...lmao.
in the southern region, lago linda's is the place to lay your head...waaaaay quieter than miguel's....
I slept my first night in miguel's parking lot in 1992, and that summer even forayed into the love shack a few times. yes my friend, the love shack WAS the slums! miguel's for pie, any place else for real sleep. now if you want to drink illegally and get high with your buds and do stupid pet tricks to impress the ladies, then miguel's is your place to pitch a tent.

Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
It isn't illegall to drink in a dry county, only to sell. Assuming you are 21, of course.pigsteak wrote: . now if you want to drink illegally
And, miguel's is a fun place to hang out, if that is what you are into. When roadside was open, I usually stayed there, and that was the slum for sure, not as many people as Miguels, but plenty loud. Or you can find some nice quite place in the RRG proper. Unless there are rednecks shooting and yelling till 3:00.
Like I said, I sleep easy, so I just go wherever. If you are a light sleeper, then Miguels might not be the place for you.
