6 days left, two of them a weekend. I hate to say it but I think I win this bet, sadly. we'll see though. homestretch, lots could happen, (but I doubt it) so fingers crossed.

We’re now looking at about a dozen donors in Louisville, about half of whom RSVP’d after our local gym put a little blurb on their Facebook page.

It didn’t take five minutes for me to type a short message for them to edit and post. An easy formula to repeat, five members from each gym in a 4 hour radius would put us over the 50 mark.

Talk to your gym tomorrow. Get the message out. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

Please give me an update when you have the final tally, JR. In addition to pledging to match your $100 donation to each org. if 50 people donate (which looks questionable at this point), I also pledged to match Yasmeen's $5 to each organization for each of the first 10 donors.

Thanks again for your initiative in starting this.

JR, I donated double.

Can someone pull my pic over from FB as proof? I'm technology challenged.

Thanks,
lee

I'll donate after the tour is over. Have to give the HGH time to dissipate.

Okay, here's the (almost?) final rundown of Louisville donors. Because of schedules, a lot of us donated at different times and thus the "proof" of donation is in different formats. I spoke with One-Fall at Churchill this evening, and I believe he can vouch for at least part of the list. There are a couple others from whom I'm waiting to hear, but here's what I have for sure.

THE DONORS:
1. Eric L.
2. Me
3. Thomas
4. Angela
5. Shawn
6. Shawn's Girlfriend
7. Amanda (I saw her give but I'm waiting on her pic)
8. Kat
9. Patrick

THE ALMOSTS:
10. Eric A. (donating tomorrow)
11. Cassi (can't - <110 lbs...but brought cookies for our donors)
12. Mark (can't - tickbite/antibiotic...but helped eat the cookies, plus other moral support)
13. Mandy (couldn't - last minute work deadline, but she helped organize! Thank you as always Mandy!)

I'd like to thank Rob and Faye at RockSport for helping get out the word. Also, Rob expressed interest having a Red Cross bus at a gym sponsored event sometime next month. Email me if you might want to help make this a more regular thingy).
