I feel like I am gonna be sick 
Hey J.H., imagine yourself walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night. You are half asleep and desire to maintain that state until you return to your cozy spot under the covers of your bed. Subconciously you know where the toilet is and you find your way there and begin to sit down. Then, pure terror jolts you to a state of high alert. Your subconcious blows the 1/2" difference in toilet height to an experience similar to Alice's trip down the very deep well.
That is the only reason I care about the toilet seat. If I'm awake, I"ll gladly put it down for myself.
