It's all on back order. They said my order should be filled by May 1 at the latest. Psyched!

Yeah, that pink fingernail polish sure is hot right now. I would be surprised if you got it by May 1! :D

"I think I just pooped on your portaledge."

In my experience, when someone says this they have already assessed the situation well enough to determine that they have, in fact, pooped on your portaledge.

"God, I hate hiking!"

- Climber after reaching Left Flank via the 0.3 mile approach on a sunny and 75 degree day.

Wow. That person sounds like a real treat.

Yeah, the Left Flank approach is EPIC. Right up there with Lone Peak Cirque, Lotus Flower Tower, and the Incredible Hulk.

In reference to Dustin's comment regarding Pure Imagination. We saw a fairly novice climber tie in and start climbing PI stating, "hey, there are draws, why wouldn't I just try it?" Just as he left the ground, he proclaimed to the watching crowd, in a completely serious tone, "even though I have never sent a 5.11 wouldn't it be crazy if I just did this route right now!?"

...he sent.

Routine Climbing Partner
by crhart2 ยป Fri Apr 19, 2013 5:02 pm
Hi guys,

I recently moved back to Lexington, KY and am looking for a routine climbing partner. I'm leading 5.10's and looking to move into 5.11's this season. I've been belay certified by the Hoosier Heights climbing gym. I'm available to climb on weekends.

Send me a message if you're interested! I'm ready to kick some ass this season!

So, I walked into the gym the other day and this climber said "hey man, I'm moving to the red for the rest of the year". Weak right!
