Uh oh! A climber, eh?

Michelle - you need to come up with some sort of cheezy profile for the prospective victims, er, singles. A photo, favorite route, their sign, favorite color, etc.

CCG - you're right - couples do bicker a lot, but it's usually pretty funny! (My favorite was one guy who's on his way to being an airline pilot yelling down to his fiance, "negative! negative!")

Be prepared to get swamped now, having put your picture in your profile and all. :D

Hmm, my ex-GF is from Canada...hmmm :P

As far as entertainment, don't forget about the guy who just taught his SO to belay, then she drops him (slab or not) 3 bolts to the deck (thud! )

I climbed part of "Shaggy" at Oil Crack last week in my Nike ACG sandals to look at a Black Widow that had taken up housing in one of the pockets and they didn't fair to well for smearing OR edging. :D

funny you should ask.

we are climbing at Dover Island, not far from Peggys Cove in Nova Scotia at the Annual Boulderfest. (A WORTHWHILE TRIP TO CANADA I MIGHT ADD)

The rock is amazing. Every kind of feature you can imagine....and there was this crack on the ground you can walk up it with no problems and it was only 10ft long or so....so that picture is a camera trick.....I'm actually standing up...but touching my toes kinda...with my hands in the crack. It just looks high because of the angle, and the people standing at the other end.

you can check out other pictures of boulderfest at

www.geocities.com/climb_welsford

click Photos at the bottom of the page, and then you'll see a link for boulderfest 2002, and 2003. problems from VB to V12, and lots of undeveloped stuff too. Not to mention the scenery and Atlantic Canadian people. oh......and the Canadian beer.
It is a nice break from a rope for a weekend in the sun with NO MOSQUITOES. :D
