Here are some specifics.
Not only is my wife beautiful, but she is awesome. I had parent teacher conferences tonight at school, a day where you work seven in the morning to nine at night. After school she brought me sushi, and a bag of beef jerky to get me through the evening. She also brought the kids which was awesome. Every time I had a conference with a parent that has their own unique problems, I would have a piece of jerky and it reminded me of how great my life is. I am truly blessed.
ps I wasn't eating the jerky during the conferences, just in between.
Do you love your life?
General answer to Piggie's question: I love my life. Specifics:
I love that I'm in love with my boyfriend, who can make me laugh, whom I find attractive, and who is the sweetest and most considerate person I've ever met.
I love that so much of my family lives less than half an hour away from me, and that I get to see my parents at least once a week.
I love that I have close friends whom I can trust with my thoughts.
I love that I found a passion 10 years ago that I still feel as excited about as when it was brand new to me, and I love being healthy and fit enough that I can climb as much as I want to.
I'm grateful that I found a job in a field that fascinates and challenges (but doesn't overwork) me, and that I'm financially independent.
On another note, Andrew, I agree: your wife/family kicks ass.
On yet another note, Anti, you're one of my favorite people.

i guess it lifes good to me. got no complaints really. work my ass most of the year then fuck off a little. got lotsa toys n trophies n junk like that. money could be more but aint that bad a shape. house is a mess - wife wont hire a cleaning lady and i keep bitchin about that - but what can ya do? Outlived most of my classmates from the neighborhood. am healthier than most of the ones that are still around. been pretty lucky so far so im grateful. so ...yeah life's pretty fuckin good i guess.
Had ultimate freedom for several years, climbing a lot, putting up routes, surfing, and only working now and then... now chained to grindstone at UK med school and married to a wonderful woman. Overall I would say I love life more now than before, but damn if it isn't easy to look back longingly at all that freedom.
Therefore I hated life because the work that is done under the sun was distressing to me, for all is vanity and grasping for the wind Eccl 2:17
Here is what I have seen: it is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage Eccl 5:18
He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it. Matt 10:39
still learning; and I do love it, perhaps too much.
just my personal outlook

Job: I get to help people learn to stand and walk again after devastating injuries. Imagine a friend sending the hardest thing ever, and it doesn't even come close to seeing these people get there life and independence back by just learning to walk again.
Wife: Im not even in this girl's league. She's hotter, fitter and smarter than me. Really supports my hobbies, and she loves to travel. Laughs at 90% of my jokes.
Family: So supportive. We talk everyday. Its the real deal.
Dog: always cuddled up with one of us, loves the Red, and except for getting constantly car sick, doesn't cause many problems.
Friends: Its been a good year for these.
Financial: We make enough to be comfortable and are blessed enough to help others.
Spiritual: Puts a lot into perspective and makes the little stuff. . .little.

Can't we all just get along?
