I live 4 hours from both the New and the Red and spend most of my time at the Red. I climb sport/boulder mostly now but if I were still into the gear routes i really would be at the New more... the crack are way way way better there. I have been on a number of the 'classic' trad routes at the Red and although they are great, they are still not as good as the cracks at th New. :D

But you are right...to each their own...i LOVE the steep Faces of the Red over any crack!!

Oops... Trad climbing in the Red sucks. It 's all choss.

I don't know what got into me, I must still be having flashbacks from aid climbing this weekend.

Sport climbing is all there is to do in the Red !!!

ok,ok you'll never get me to pursue serious trad climbing at the red. I was just suprised to see how many people like trad here...It's all good, enjoy yourselves..that's what it's all about!!
