i climbed today and had a good time once i found some dry rock (the first 3 routes we did were seeping). still beats sitting on my ass indoors even if it was hot and muggy outside.

just a thought about this thread.. might be more appropriate/easier/updated if you tweeted the status.. maybe use a #rrg_cond hashtag or something similar. could probably pull it onto the front page eventually (have too many other things going on to do it personally)

heh.. that was me above.. anyway, for anyone interested in developing a module of sorts, it'd be pretty simple. just parse the json and you're good to go on all the latest condition.. knowing wes and crew down there, you'll probably have by the minute updates you can easily get on you iphone, blackberry, etc.

Weather is great today! Was even almost chilly riding this morning. If you have a project you want to send before fall, today and maybe tomorrow are your days. Call in sick, leave early, skip class, etc. as needed.

And if someone wants a leg-up on doing this, I've uploaded a simple reader here: (reads the last tweets of #rrg_cond)

Very bare design and javascript intensive (uses jQuery so I don't know how it'll do on mobile devices) but the code is really simple. It took all of 30 minutes. Feel free to use that URL or adapt it to your own purposes.

A little bit overcast today, and there was a little bit of rain late yesterday, but the temps feel amazing. Thermometer here said mid 60's a little bit ago.

Of course, I am inside trying to hide from the allergens out there, but hope to dose up on meds and go shoot some video in a bit.

The first day it got cooler I was sneezing all day with allergies but have been OK the last two days. Don't know why that is?

A bit warm but not too damp ... the porch thermometer reads 80 at 4 pm.
