I am happy that our country did not sell government to the lowest bidder this time. Times were too crucial to do that. They gave the job to the most qualified.
People around the world see the USA with the big bomb. Just as we freak out when the Right Wing Nut job takes power in Iran or N. Korea instead of the diplomat; they too are interested in who we have at the helm. The world is rejoicing at our choice (except Bosnia and the Israeli right). We have taken a hell of a lot of heat for them.
I am getting motion sickness as I go round and round as Piggy stirs the pot, and the soup smells stale. I think the expiration date on that package was Nov 4, 2008, but it made it into the pot anyway.
At least Bush is taking the transition like a responsible world leader unlike Bubba and Bullary who took every thing in the White House that wasn't bolted down and pardoned everyone they hadn't deemed dangerous enough to murder. Kill em' all.
hopefully health care will be first on the messiah's list- a good starting point would be to place ALL health care workers on the same pay scale- janitors would receive the same pay as neuro surgeons and techs and nurses and admins- a redistrbution of wealth starting with a subset dedicated to the betterment of society and not the individual
