because it would be a waste of bandwidth to start a new thread with a poll. How many posters here regularly wear a helmet while sport climbing? **Note you must have less than one gumby point to answer this question**

~you wear socks with your climbing shoes
~you never take your shoes off the entire day at the cliff
~you just saw and learned to stick clip last weekend
~you wear shorts over long pants
~you have your "belay card" attached to your harness
~you clip your calk bag to your harness
~you wear a helmet sport climbing
~you mostly sport climb and don't know how to use a gri gri
~you bring your crash pad to the cliff
~you rap more often than lower off sport climbs
~you make cleaning the draws off a overhanging climb look harder than climbing.

I am sure there are more, feel free to add to the list.
I still wear socks on 5.12 offwidths.

I'm still learning how to stick clip properly.

I only recently learned how to use a gri gri....

My experience has been that gumbies travel in groups. What do you call them? A gaggle? A horde? They all seem to have crooked helmet straps and jansport book bags.

I think "a murder" would be appropriate since they are trying to kill each other. I'm not sure why they call crows a murder. Do they kill each other?

edit: Good old Google....

http://www.birds.cornell.edu/crows/crowfaq.htm#murder
What is a group of crows called (as in "a gaggle of geese")?

The poetic term for a bunch of crows is a "murder." No scientist calls them that, only poets. Scientists would call it a flock.

A 'drove' of gumbies like a drove of asses....

or a 'troop'- with all the helmets and sticks it looks like they're ready to fight.
