We went to Font this Thanksgiving but it rained, sleeted, then snowed

that roof is uncofortably high and the pockets not so good...must go back...

So is he cutting feet before a heel hook?

No heel hook, you have to cut your feet from a heal hook under the roof and campus/jump to the hold he is on. Then smear/campus to the next hold till you can get your foot real high on that top face. Super scary and definetly higher than it looks in that pic.
