I hear you - same with hippies and hammocks. the only thing worse would be a hippie dog in an hammock - that could cause the Red to closerhunt wrote:I love how every access issue or just complaint about climbers often ends up being about dogs and yet the dog owners still try to defend bringing them to the crag.

Really Porkchop? How many of these have you broken???pigsteak wrote:the rules are common sense appreciation for the land:
They don't have any posted, but I bet I could come up with a few:
No dogs.
No children.
No smoking.
No profanity.
No new routes.
No fixed gear. (That means you and your project draws brah)
Carry out all toilet paper and poop. Please do not even think of burying your crap at the crag.
No groups bigger than 4.
Don't top rope thru the fixed gear.
Pretty basic, and broken every single day at the Red by entitled, self absorbed climbers. every. single. day.
I am guessing
You have brought a dog to a crag
You have swore (pretty fucking silly rule)
You have developed a route without obtaining permission from an owner
You have left project draws on a route
You have taken a shit and buried it.
You have climbed with a group larger than 4.
How close am I? Be honest now...

What's with the hammocks. I ran into some kids at a local crag here in PA 2 weeks ago. They didn't think they needed 2 biners on their toprope anchor, but they did bring 2 hammocks. wtf.
