The Cell was an awesome movie, it's just too bad they didn't credit the two artists from whom most of the visuals in that movie were ripped off. Look up Damien Hirst and Joel Peter Witkin and you'll see what I mean.
Brentucky wrote:I thought the book version of "The Road" dulled the cannibalism. I wasn't as impressed as most. "Roots" on the other hand (the book version) doesn't spare a lot of details. It's pretty dang stressful to read, but it is excellent. Anyone seen the series or movie or whatever it is?
Roots was one of several miniseries in the 70s. I can honestly say it helped save my sanity while I was snowed in on the farm with two toddlers for six weeks! Yep! Six weeks!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Watched The Book of Eli and The Road back to back last night. Afterward I promptly dug a trench around the house and filled 50 sand bags. Anyone have guns for sale? Where is that dude from Cincy that was starting a gun shop?
finally got around to seeing The Fall, was ok... at least it was original. I like that the piemaker from Pushing Daisies was in it... really enjoyed that tv show till the strike.
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.
