A few shots from Escalante Creek in western Colorado, a few miles south of Grand Junction. Not sure of the names or grades of the routes we climbed, but it's a beautiful canyon with few people and unique crack climbs.
Escalante Creek is also a popular class V kayak run when its flooding. Maybe next year...

I love the desert, too, but the approaches I've done there have almost all been steeper and longer than those from our beloved rhodo jungle.
