Climbing on Weekdays
A quiet cliff with a few people getting down to business
Having a project come together like a binary- just push send
being in the moment of choreographed effortless climbing
bolting what I know will be a hyper classic
"It really is all good ! My thinking only occasionally calls it differently..."

knowing that in a year and a half i can feel the touch of stone, the inhale of a cool morning, and the sound of friends enjoying our time together.
white russians, blunts, and the dude
the right seconds of a song absorbing into your mind at the right moment of exisitence
not letting it everything consume me in darkness even when it has
coffee next door
Like me on facebook but hate me in real life

Being the only one in my family allowed to mess up my grandma's perfect hairsprayed hair.
Hearing her laughter echo in my head, so natural and carefree
Knowing my dad digs me as a best friend, all genetic-obligations aside
Having great friends of 10+ years call me up, just to make me smile
The dizzying effect of ice and good Irish cream
Being able to say "fuck it", step back, and breathe.
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.

Spending time with my wife, family, and dog.
The thought of spending time with my soon-to-be-born first child.
Having a cold, hoppy beer with good, motivated friends.
Going to the bakery for breakfast and coffee before work.
Being productive.
Finally understanding something after spending many hours studying it.
Listening to good music.
Fluid movement on rock.
Being in the woods.
Water.
Shredding the gnar, effortlessly.
Mornings.
Watching and Playing Basketball and Soccer
Most of all, sharing special experiences with special people.
