Heh. I had no idea that 1 in 9 people in South Africa, 1 in 4 in Zimbabwe, 1 in 10 in Zambia and the Ivory Coast were homo's.* Who would have thought it was such a socially progressive continent. Now I'm starting to get it.

*margin of error for Africans that aren't homo, just intravenous drug users.

You do realize that there are still places in africa where they think the cure for aids is to have sex with a virgin right?

they also do a lot of unsafe piercing, and tatooing.

If you're gonna troll you should learn to read.

Not sure how I'm trolling. Derailing perhaps, but not trolling.

Er - back on topic: Congress has low approval ratings because:

People are sick of the corrupt Republicans in congress who wasted their money, encouraged torture and went along with Bush and the Iraq invasion.

People are pissed at the Democrats in Congress because they were given the (slim) majority in the House, but haven't really sacked up enough to outlaw torture, improve the environment, expose the last six years of criminality and most importantly, get the US out of Iraq.

In other words, Congress has low approval ratings because they haven't done enough to piss off Larry.

(Although, Larry is right on to be pissed off about that stupid WiFi-nanny crap bill that's moving through congress. Total bullshit.)

Or

Because the Democrats have proven themselves to be just as corrupt as the rotten Republicans they replaced.

Because, now that it's clear that we're winning in Iraq, voters take a somewhat more skeptical view of a party that decided it's political interests were best furthered by actually siding with the enemy in a time of war.

Because voters now realize that the Democratic leadership was for torture before it was against it.

Define "clear" and "winning."

$450,000,000,000.00 budgeted dollars through fiscal year 2007. (GAO Stat)

Costing the American taxpayer a billion dollars every 3 days at the current rate and no end in sight.

Hell of a success story, I'd call that winning for sure.

Never said victory comes cheap. But defeat, now that would be costly indeed.

Victory, I can see it right around the corner. No wait, that's defeat.

What the hell do you think we are actually going to "win" in Iraq, Larry?
