It's usually hard for me to care about anyone else's opinions anymore, but that last statement strikes me as one of the most hypocritical things I've ever seen, and I was curious if I was the only one making that observation. And just to be a complete ass, it's "incident."

she obviously deserved it, if she just would have put her arms behind her back after her head slammed into the cruiser, she could have avoided several of those tasings

I think I'd try to get away from a fat pig shooting me with a taser.

In case you think somehow a taser is an innocent thing, I've heard it described as "The most painful thing you'll ever experience." That was from a woman who got a one second jolt.

All police officers carrying a Taser take a jolt from a Taser during training, to appreciate its force.

Are you freaking kidding me Alan? The kid did not wait in line..he bolted to the front like his question was so more important then everyone else in line. The cops immediately tried to restrain him, but Kerry said let him talk. Then he goes on some mind numbing political rant (maybe that is why you like him so) instead of asking a question. Hey dumb kid, get your own game show if you want to be the host.

All his "what did I do...what did I do?" was pure showmanship....he knew how to play the crowd..I applaud him for his theatrics. he has even fooled all you libbies....

I am convinced that people justify their dire need for attention with some cause. I doubt they really care about the political/ethical/religious issues in which they go to extreme measures (theatricas as you appropriately called it) to protect.

All this aside, how do I get ahold of my own taser?

Dude, I don't care if he's the biggest dick in the world, he was not a physical threat to anyone and he shouldn't have been beaten or tasered. If they couldn't get him on the ground and handcuff him without using anything more than their bodies then they shouldn't be cops.

If people were tasered for being obnoxious Bill O'Reilly would have a taser installed in his ass and triggered when he spoke. Rush limbaugh would be continually jittering and screaming. Michael Savage would suffocate from the tasering he deserves.

Please note that the kid was directly criticizing the Florida cops who were explicitly involved in suppressing the vote in 2004 and I'm sure that got them riled up as well. Does that give them the right to taser this kid? Do you think tasering is somehow less than beating him with a club? Oh that's right, unless you agree with the way things are you should shut the fuck up because you're a traitor, right? The cops can do no wrong, right? If you're not suspicious of cops at all times you're not paying attention. Most of them are dumbass failed jocks with a chip on their shoulders and no respect for the rule of law.

We all would like to have a lot of power, but it takes an aweful lot of effort to get it. B getting it, you might loose yourself. So, it's a lot easier to taser a woman for kicking the windows than to respect the woman enough to take the effort to sit on her to control her. Same result, vastly different amounts of effort. People, by nature, are self serving. It's easier to taser than it is to sit on her. Same results, path of least resistance. Willing to treat others not as one themselves would like to be treated, but valuing the self over the other. The slef is always the core of the circles of life and relationships.
