Happiness is knowing that I will be home soon and will see all my buddies again.... yay and getting to hang out at the Red and be a poor bum.

For me, its always been hard to enjoy anything that has not been a struggle, no matter how much it cost financially. Having money to spend is one thing, but earning the money you spend is something entirely different.

WOW pawilkes, thanks for giving me some perspective. I too am in a long distance relationship and when I pay my vehilce gas bill every month it can be painful, yet its been worth every penny.
I have just started a long distance relationship, and the plane tickets, gas, and time spent in the car is well worth every penny. Its something to look forward to every week, and the year that it will take to have the option to live closer to each other is like the light at the end of the tunnel.

don't worry krampus..paying $200 a weekend to get laid will wear off after awhile....plus, if you are wasting your weekends seeing this person, that tells me you are no longer a climber, and should turn in your user ID on here.

hehe, not true at all, she is probably a better climber than I am, not that thats really saying much, so my trips to the red will be as regular as ever. :D :D

yeah, only it was too hot this year so I just walked around the crag with all my quickdraws attached to my harness. Never got on anything but everybody thought I was a badass and knew about some super secret lines around the corner at left flank. It was awesome. 8)
