If you care about the future of climbing in the gorge you might want to show up. We might not be the best or the brightest but we are trying to ensure the future of climbing in the gorge region. If you feel the RRGCC isn't providing enough communication, if you think we are a bunch of lame wades, if you think we aren't doing what we should for you this is your chance to sound off. We, the Board of Directors (yes, capitalized), will be there to listen to you.
The down side: You have to attend a 1 to 2 hour meeting on a Sunday morning.
The up side: You get to climb at Torrent.
The reality: You can sleep through the meeting as long as you have been hauled there and you still get to climb at Torrent.
Plus: you don't have to leave the Gorge to attend.
I really don't care as long as you attend. I really don't care what your particular "axe to grind" is, I just want the opportunity to answer questions regarding the Coalition and it's agenda and abilities. I would also like to begin to air the Coalition's need for assistance.
Also if there are any things that are felt to be of primary importance I would like to hear of those.
