Wow. I can't imagine how horrifying that would be. The dogs aren't contained in any way? If not, maybe that could be your first step - getting them contained somehow to prevent this from happening again.

jjhellstrom, I'm so sorry about what happened to your daughter. I hope she is okay. I also hope you reported the incident to the police and to animal control. If not, please do so. I am a dog lover, but those dogs are dangerous and at the very least need to be properly contained.

Call animal control and have the dog killed. If the cops won't do it, do it yourself.
