or the Copper Head Fest? We could model the whole thing after a church revival and take up snakes!

That could turn into a ClubbingFest and I am afraid for Hoe's safety!

We took it last spring and it really helped both Theresa and my climbing. I had bought the book the year before and read it a few times. Having Arno show you hands-on makes a big diference. It is a lot of info and although I recomend his book, if you know you are going to take the course, I think I would do the course, then buy the book as a way to refresh what you've learned.
I always seemd to be shut-down by the .10c grade. My "goal route" for the class was AWOL (10c) but it was being used so I got on Pulling Pockets instead. Sent the route and felt really good about it. I get on 10d's all the time now, with an 11 thrown in here and there. I am going to work on .11's and beyond this year.

I'm interested in taking the course too (especially if there's space in that all-women group). I can't even take a lead fall in the gym most of the time, and usually end up resting on my gear outside.

I think there's one space left. Talk to Mia about reserving your space. It's a 6 person limit and 4 have said a definite yes (Gretchen, you still in?). It's 2 days, $189, on the weekend Mia mentioned. I think at this point all it takes is getting your email address on the list and a $50 deposit. But talk to Mia...

Just read this thread! I highly recommend this course. The Warrior Way course is based on yoga philosophy. Focus, breathing, trusting. It's a great way to build confidence. For some reason, I freaked out on C# Bflat two summers ago. Froze like a Frosty! At the end of Arno's course, I led this route! Okay, the draws were long, but it was my scariest, most hated route and I finished it in a raging thunderstorm! The course teaches you to realize what you can do.
Oh, and Arno loves to be lobbed with Fritos!
