at one time there was one language and there has always been one God unless you count Tony Hawk - if I recall the story line (OT) the place was Babylon and the people were pissing God off and he cast them off in different directions and gave them different languages and thats probably where that damn chinese math got started as well

Did you read that from the Bible? Did you read it as literal? Is the Bible(OT) a reliable source for accurate human history?

It may not be a great source for you to read human history, but unfortunatley it is what the Christian faith has as its history/instruction manual. Where the problem lies is in the translations and interpetations by it's followers and the misguided beliefs of what non-believers think it means.......
