Finally almost a year later their insurance settled and the bulk of the medical bills are paid. I lost only two weeks of work in the wreck but I had lost six months of climbing at the least, but I realized just how important climbing is to me. I didn't miss riding the whole time but being out and on some rock, be it trad, sport, pebble humping, or pulling plastic is what keeps me sain.

yes but how well does the thumb work now?

It's arthritic in the mornings but works fine pulling plastic or jamming. I still have wrist and knee pain but its nothing that stops me from climbing. And women dig scars.
