Ha, mine too! Then I reminder her that she married me.

OK, back to climbing.....
Any suggestions on how to make myself use this stupid climbing wall in my garage? Most people buy a treadmill and never use it. I built a climbing wall and never use it, but oddly enough use our treadmill quite often (ie tonight when its 20 below outside).
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

maybe it has something to do with the process of Realization, and I'm speculating here, Sharma named the route when he realized it would/could go as he invisioned the line going past the original anchors, for the mortal, read us, we Realize what we most do in order to make an advance from whatever our current standard is, it may not have to be a conscious effort but it seems to me the mind starts the process, anyway I can relate to the lack of effort but teeter with the consuming urge to improve. Gee ain't it funny?

steve, you need accountability. invite people to climb so that you have to climb with them!

accountability..pfffft..a poor excuse for having no self discipline. if you won't train, you never were a climber. give me the holds on your wall and take up some cheesey hobby like going to see bands.

Go slow and static. Cardio and endurance training. Avoid the dynamic training. Plenty of rest. Two to three off for every one on. Ibuprofen, vit C and vit E.

Climb at 50 degrees on half pad edges. Throw in plenty of deadpoints to said edges. Mix that in with a bunch of lock-offs on monos and VOILA!, there is your rehab training regimen! :D
