I know Morgain, but thanks for trying. The persona, Joe, might be false but there is in fact a human being out there behind it. That's who I'm speaking to when I say "Have a good weekend." It doesn't really matter if that person tried to make a fool out of me. This is all in good fun, right?

And as for any future Joe's, I welcome them, because well.... if I can't stick my neck out for a stranger every once what am I really worth?

Sandy, are you (or Paul) saying that I should never be kind, or generous to those around me for fear of being taken advantage of? What a dismal world this would be if we all subscribed to that philosophy.

Ynot, perhaps I am not old enough or wise enough to see the world as grimly as you do, but if that be the cost of growing up (not growing old), then I think I will hold on to my child's eyes a bit longer
