It is nice to see grown (seemingly) heterosexual men comfortable enough with their sexuality to open discuss their "gayness". Well down, men!

Orange Juice was harder for me. I would say soul ram is a hair harder than Rifleman but Rifleman's crux is harder than anything on Soul Ram. I think the grades are accurate. IMO.

Well, just had to reply to this thread, even if it is 5+ years old, since it's about one of the raddest routes at the RRG. Soul Ram definitely feels like a more "Old School" 12b; similar in feel to climbs of the same grade at Smith Rock, City of Rocks, or even the NRG, where they don't really give 12- away like they do at the Red.
Contrary to what past replies in this thread have said, I don't think it is particularly footwork intensive. The "corduroy" rock lends itself to high friction, awesome feet everywhere. The really hard part is finding the good crimps in the same features, and it seems like every time I get on it, rain has washed all the chalk and ticks away, so I have to relearn the sequence, by which point I don't have the tips left to try it more than twice!
This may all be random ranting, though, since I have not sent the route. heh.

I found Soul Ram to be more challenging than OJ. Both are excpetional routes.

Rifleman and OJ are classic great routes but dont even compare to the Soul Ram..!
