Me and Keith have spoken on how/where/and what we are going to bring.
We want to have to firing lines, one handgun, one Long gun, one shooter per type at a time. We are bringing assorted hand guns and 1 AK-47, 1-sniper rifle,
and the gun that won WW2 for the Allies, the M1 Garrand. I don't know spencer, but Iwas informed he has several rifles. I will ask everyone to remember even though it will be a lot of fun and the mood light, these are just as deadly as a worn rope or a bad biner. I will assume that no one has a problem with running this like a real range with a basic set of rules/laws to keep us safe. I know it was a joke on an above thread, but obviously no alchohol. What you dont know about a gun will get you killed, when handling one and something weird happens, sit it down, it cant hurt anyone when no one is touching it. always keep it pointed down range, always point it down range, and always point it down range!!!!!!!!!!!! treat all guns like they are loaded. there are no dumb questions when handling guns. I will probably have a few more, but these are the most important for now. All of it seems like common sense, but people hear it, say they understand, and still shoot themselves or others. I dont want to sound like your 8th grade principal explaining safe sex practices or drivers ed, but I would'nt be the Gunslnga if I did'nt. I'm looking forward to it!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

You guys should go to the Gun Crag. Drink, shoot guns, and have a crag clean up day!

be sure to tell me where you are doing this so I can be far, far away. I remember the time Yasmeen handled my gun. I'm SO glad it wasn't loaded. :P

That sounds great gunslnga. This will be the chance to learn how to handle a gun safely and properly and have some fun!

I will also bring my bow and a target for the bow. For the bow, I think we should put that seperate from the guns, since whoever shoots it will have to go and retrieve the arrows.

Suddenly, I'm very afraid. No one's allowed to shoot until I'm well behind you.

Be extra careful with the automatics. I've seen someone go from firing forward to straight in the air because they couldn't control the gun. It wasn't because the gun kicked much but they were freaking out and kept pulling the trigger. Not to say anyone it the group will do that. Maybe start out with just a couple rounds in the clip until they are used to it. Just a word of caution.

Exploding targets are pretty cool and most gun shops have them.

Cheaper than exploding targest are suckers. Stick those in the top of a cardboard box and they explode when hit. I'll also suggest some steel targets if you have any. Just watch the splatter from those.

Oh, oh, a deuling tree would be fun if you can get one.
