pro's and Con's of this weekend at miguels
Miguels and RRO both were absolutely wonderful. Also MMB was pretty darn tasty and fast. I think everything was great, even frest TP in the bathrooms!!!
As far as JR on stage i thought it was great and if parents are bringing their kids along to see a show of climbing that has bombs, guns, random death defying feats then what is the harm in a few bad jokes as a little sprinkling?

well now it'll be known. i was put on the spot to get on stage. i was just helping a good friend out. i warned there would be nothing "funny, or any jokes" even did the earmuffs. i knew there were kids there and i didn't want to go nuts but thats what was expected. it is a climber"s campground/festival not a kiddie park. we dont have clowns painting faces, or magicians, or even a tilt a whirl.....you know this place sucks now that i think about it. what i did is what i do. i make no apologies for it nor do i feel it is a good representation of myself. to those that know me and support me as friends thank you. you know ive got your back. to everyone else that wants to judge me off of a 5 minute impromptu routine go ahead. and yes i would still laugh at any of these jokes when i have kids. if i don't stick them in a blender first. just be glad i didn't tell the puppet joke.
Like me on facebook but hate me in real life

which is worse...knowing those kids heard the jokes...or knowing those same kids weren't even paying attention because they were wasted?anticlmber wrote:i knew there were kids there and i didn't want to go nuts but thats what was expected. it is a climber"s campground/festival not a kiddie park.
