I was outvoted and we spent all day (more than 8 hours) Saturday doing trail work. I didn't even get to climb or put up a single route, but that is part of the development process... lots of hard work and it's not always fun... but it will be worth it in the end and your satifaction/appreciation will be greater...

I thought you posted something a month or two ago about how you didn't want to do any trail work and that you would rather wait until it was all completed before you visited a new crag? Why the new change of opinion?

That would be aweosme, have a trail/bolting day in the southern region. Cause when it rain the trails get all sloppy so we need to figure out how to make run offs throughout the trail or something of that nature.

Nope more about not having FA fever. I would rather wait until the routes were nice and clean before doing them. Like I am not psyched to bushwack all ass over the place to put up a couple chossy 5.6 cracks. Just not what I am into these days.

I have put in a bit of trail work time over the years though.

I know the one thing I did before I started bolting at Purgatory was build a really nice trail back to there (from the Inner Circle back). I think the trails and the access to the cliff is just as important as putting up new routes

Yep, trail days are always needed throughout the gorge.

Memorial Day weekend...is that the last weekend of May?

I don't really care much about learning to bolt. Do we have to attend the bolting clinic in order to help? Or is it a good idea to learn the process?

Regardless, I'm in too.
