FU and your H2
Hmmmmm, I'm torn on this one. I actually follow Spragwa's line as I have a work truck (admittedly it's just a Ranger but I've also had an E250 van with a 6.2L v8) that I use for work but my little car is what I drive most. But the "let's just burn all the fucking oil and get it over with" line is kind of logical except for the amount of additional CO2 that means in the atmosphere.
A good minivan will get over 25mpg on the highway so they're not even vaguely comparable to a Hummer (at <9mpg). Excursions and other supermassive SUV's are no better. I can only think of a couple of people that have those things for a good reason (i.e. they only use them to tow very large trailers or when they use them by themselves they're packed full of stuff). But Hummers always have ONE person in them and he or she is talking on a cel phone while driving the monstrosity. So screw 'em.
Soon you'll be seeing THIS POS. I haven't decided whether it or the Hummer disgusts me more.

From Kentucky ;o)
The hummer should also be held to the same emission standards as your van Wes but as site pointed out it is not because it is so ridiculously heavy. Also the bumpers on your van, unless you put monster truck tires on it, are not at a height that makes it a threat to other vehicles on the road. I'm just waiting for a trophy wife too busy yelling at her kids and cell phone to pay attention to the road to plough into my poor little car.
Heres my delima, My Jeep is dying, and I just sold my Lux. I am either going to buy an H2 for comfort and style, or Buy another pimp ass SUV to keep in the Red and have a nice comfortable car to commute from My house to the red and back. I will be spending about the same either way I go on Gas and for the car/cars. Well it is either a H2 or and Escalade, and If I get one of those It is because I like them so screw all of you that dont like them, Ill be pimp and all the Biatches will want me and my little wang. Oh and another thing, you can sleep in an H2 too
longlegsrule, My dad just sold one of those. They really were utility vehicles originally because they ride like a fucking rock and the only people that would buy one back then actually would've used it mostly to drive offroad.
International Harvester has always made heavy duty work vehicles so it's a little dissappointing to see them moving into the luxury SUV market. It also seems like they're about five years behind the curve because SUV and large truck sales will probably see a steep decline (or, in the case of GM, the decline has already started and is steep).
allah, you can sleep in a van down by the river, too.

I like the Patagonia (or is it Columbia) add campaign:
"Avoid road rage" and they show a pair of trail running shoes.

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
