Way to go, Jack! Hey Ray, maybe you should give him some beers? Or better yet, some pocket protectors!

Now Lynne, don't confuse nerds with geeks.
Ya know, the first day I saw Jack I knew he was an open-source hardcore unixy type programmer. Then one day I heard him talking about C++. I swear, ask Michelle. I called it.
Know what it was?
The long pony tail and glasses and the fact that his girlfriend had a Pinky and the Brain t-shirt on. Dead giveaways for the leaders of the new world.

Lynne is just jealous now that she is a hunch back leaning over her computer figuring out how to boost her image amongs the computer gods..

Cute, Gretchen! That huntchback comment hurts though!!

I have met Jack and I know he is not a nerd. I went to university in the early 80's, one of a very very small minority of women in electrical engineering.. maybe I was traumatized by the experience, but I think pocket protectors are sexy!

Trust me pocket protectors are super nerdy! I should know, my father is a physicist and when we were little we used to go to Carnegie Mellon w/him & hang out in the land of nerds! He'll show you his slide ruler if you ask nicely!!

Nothing at all. I spent my formative years there blowing stuff up with my dad, hanging out in the metal shop with the true nerds, blowing glass (that's when you had too), all kinds of cool stuff
