Ya think? I don't know. There's a mysterious unknown factor to climbers.

I only knew one climber before I became interested in the sport & I remember being a little in awe that she could do such things.

The techs at my clinic are all young, healthy men & I think they actually are interested. I'm the only young person I've seen in there yet. Usually they get the "I've fallen & I can't get up" clientele.

I was one asked If I was a climber when I was taking my rope into the gym( I hate the 11mil ropes) and I said ya. The next words out of there mouth was, " are you traning to climb Everest?" I say no. Then they say whats the point. My responce more often than not, " to do somthing you cant." :evil: oh well, some people dont get it

I think that they are making small talk... but also gathering innaccurate info so that they can make BETTER small talk with the next patient.
