Indy? Track meet? Where? What format? USATF? NSGA in Evansville?

Oh, right. Thanks, Meadows.
We were recently told on this forum that we are not REAL rock climbers unless we climb at 5.12a.
If numbers determine what is REAL and what is not, I wonder what mini-m time would qualify a person as a REAL runner?
Are sprinters REAL runners? Does my 100-meter 13.25, 200-meter 27.2, and 400-meter 1:07.10 qualify me as a REAL runner? At 61, do I get any handicapping points for age? As a state gold medalist, I'll be representing Indiana at the 2005 National Senior Games in Pittsburg in these three events. It would sure be embarrassing to show up and find out I wasn't even a REAL runner. Hell, I don't even WEAR tights!
Oh, and that Fred Beckey guy... I guess he isn't a REAL rock climber either, now that he has difficulty pulling .10c moves... at age 83.

weber, Don't let Pigsteak get you down. You see, he's one of those special people, if you know what I mean - someone brought him to the Red, put him on Mr. Bungle and told him it was Table of Colors. He's been projecting it since with the direct start.
Plus, he voted for Bush so I really don't think he knows what he's talking about.

Yeah, don't let any of the pompous 5.12 climbers hurt your feelings. I have seen 5.12 climbers run away with their tails between there legs from REAL climbs that were only 5.9!

And no, weber, sprinters are not real runners. They're just fooling themselves. People who run minis show some promise, but they're not real runners until they step up and make the big committment.

So a boulderer would not be considered a climber because they don't do long routes? Is that what you are saying marathonmedic?
