I drove by there and didn't see a building at the address listed. It seemed like a building might have been torn down.

Interesting. I know that the Lexington Indoor shooting range was on Enterprise Dr and it burned a while ago. But that was at 1051 Enterprise. Maybe it's a coming soon deal still.

Hmmm. Wonder why someone paid for the phone number to be listed in the 2003 phone directory (that's the most recent one in my office) even tho the place appears to be gone and the corporation has been defunct for quite a while.

Just because they chose not to maintain the corporate form doesn't mean that they aren't operating. It simply means that they are not paying taxes as a corporation and that the owners are personally liable for the acts of the company.

I doubt they are operating a rock gym of any sort since the phone number is no longer in service. And who in their right mind would operate a climbing gym without incorporating for liability purposes?

I think I remember hearing about this "place" several years ago. I'm fairly sure it was just some wishful thinking on someone's part and never really turned into anything.

Around the same time there was rumor of a climbing gym opening up in some sort of gymnastic place. Never materialized as far as I know.

Be at peace. Lexington has no public climbing gym.
