Alan...lets end this right...
It's in Somerset. My uncle has a couple of harps.
I've been meaning to make one that will mount in a window or stand outside. When the wind hits them just right they sing on their own. Very eery sounding.

Since we're in Kentucky (at least those of us that aren't worthless pieces of shit from buttfuck Ohio) he should probably play a jug, spoons, mouthharp, or washtub. I'd love to see someone try to play a jug and rap. After about a minute he'd just pass out cold.

I played the spoons growing up...and my paw paw played the jug and the mandolin, banjo, guitar, mouthharp....um...not the washtub...too bad he's not still here...
From Kentucky ;o)
Sorry about your pawpaw. My family's full of good players of all stripes and it just so happens I'm pretty good on that there washtub bass. I'm mostly a guitar picker though. You play anything llr? Perhaps we can meet at a campfire some fair evening for a little hoedown.longlegsrule wrote:I'm a KY chick and I still resent the OH commentAlan Evil wrote:Since we're in Kentucky (at least those of us that aren't worthless pieces of shit from buttfuck Ohio) he should probably play a jug, spoons, mouthharp, or washtub. In case you weren't paying attention, Odub and I have this ongoing flame war and he's from Ohio. No offense to the other assholes from Ohio that pollute the Gorge with their presence all summer... Hmmmm. That's not how I meant that to sound.
