Joe..If you use the past as an example of how long things might take to get straight in the S/R, It could be 6 months to a year. No one can give you a difinitive date, so quit asking and do the best thing for all climbers and climb elsewhere. I know you have not gone to every crag listed in the guide so why don't you make that a new years resolution, and explore areas that do not have access issues, instead of fixating on the S/R. You know climbers climbed for years before the S/R was developed.

Do some research on access issues while your at it.
There are problems everywhere across the country.
Each one is a little different although they all involve climbers and land owners.
I know you will whine "But WE own the SR". It's not that black and white. Without going into the entire history, the oil companies have been there for a long time and have rights too. But you know all about that.
You don't have a right to climb, just like you don't have a right to drive.
They are both privledges.
You can, however, exercise your RIGHT to choose.
If you choose to chill for a bit and help out access that's great.
If you choose to continue to think you have the right to climb in the SR then do so knowing you are risking access for EVERYONE, but please don't feel like you need to come on here and tell everyone you are doing it.
Number one, I don't think many people care what you climb, or how you climb, if you climb for fun, love, or ego.
Number two there are a lot of impressionable people who read about continued climbing in the SR and believe it is ok.

As far as comparing the rrgcc to Nazis and yourself a Jew get real man.
You are never satisfied with the answer you get so you keep at it and twist shit around to make yourself the victim.
You remind me of some of the mental cases from high school.

Sure, you want to know when we can climb in the SR.
I think everyone wants to know that.
The only diference is that everyone else seems to accept what must be done for a while and you don't or won't.

Does the other 90% of the Red not interest you? There is so much out there to climb why must you be so obsessed and impatient with this one area, is it because you are only interested in drilling rather than actually climbing?

Yo Joe(Dirt)...dude please stay out of the SR for a little while. The motherlode access, which in NOT owned by the Murreys(RRGCC) has been jeopardize because of all the CLIMBERS conflict with the oil companies. The motherlode is my favorite crag at the Red and it holds my current project that I would love to send soon. If you do something stupid and I can't get back on my project until next fall or winter...I will kick your ASS!!

The Mother Lode access was not compromised. But I can understand why everyone wants to relax about climbing in the So. Region. No one wants to be the person who fucked up and got us banned from climbing in the National Forest, So. Region or any private property.
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.

Spragwa, From what I understand, if I park my car in the motherlode parking area it will be towed...that's an access isssue.
