I'll be just west of Insanely Jealous for a couple weeks, not sure just exactly how long, but too long is a safe bet. Then I'll be right smack in the middle of Worksville...ever been there? It's not too nice this time of year, but at least there are not a lot of tourists.

After that I might hit the southeast corner of Couchandmoviesville - that's always a safe bet and usually stays dry this time of year.

Ever since I left my favorite College Town I haven't been able to get out of Over-worked and Underpaid (they are right next to each other as you leave Whinersville, can't miss 'em!).

I hope everyone has great times - take lots of pictures!!! I will post some action shots of me desk bouldering in the newsroom and buildering at the station (Channel 9 actually is great for that).....and if I am lucky, the news director will lock himself out of his office again and I will be called upon to scale the wall, get up through the ceiling and down into his office. :D

*SIGH*

I'm knee deep in a fun filled Christmas weekend in Owensboro. This town ain't the same since some young'uns bought Martin's and changed up all the decor...nowhere to drink a beer in this bloody town anymore.

New Year's looks to be spent in our mountain hideaway in beautiful Knott Co.

recycle ale8 bottles. i would like to set up a sort of foundation to help broke climbers such as ourselves. more well off people could contribute money to make our lives easier. to get away with not paying for gas, just move to miguels. everyone, please contribute to the "i'm broke, don't want to work, but want to eat/drink climber fund". even a small donations goes a long way. 10 cents=ramen, 1.29=king cobra 40, 1.40=gallon of gas. all doations are appreciated, feel free to give me the money whenever you see me. i'm usually at miguels on the weekends. maybe i'll set up a donation box in the monastery. i miss the free box that was at miguels. i ate more than one weekend off that stuff.

I'm not a moocher...I like to work for what I have

life consists of responisiblities...I am my own responsibility...I'm not going to get anywhere in life if all I do is climb...unless I won the lottery or something

I want a job...so that I can feel good about paying for my own gas and gear etc....maybe it's just a woman thing now-a-days

Just got back from South Platte, CO. Went out for work and ended up finishing work two days early (work my ass off so I could climb). While I was solo top-roping 5.11 slabs at Bucksnort Slab, I ran into Eva from France (very talented crack climber). We ended up getting four routes in that day at Squat Rock (crack and off-width climbing). I about dislocated my shoulder on a 5.10b off-width. I have never worked harder for a clean assent. 40deg was very pleasant with clear skies. The sun is so intense there! The icing on the cake was complete solitude. Blue skies, light wind, south facing climbs, not a soul around - doesn't get much better.

i guess that's cool that you wanna make your own way. i just wanna spend life doing what i enjoy. i don't like work, i'd rather climb, slackline, and hang with my bros. i believe people should spend their time doing what they desire most to do. living for the weekend is no way to live, in my opinion. right now, i'm cool with being broke and living life. to each their own.
