Never car camp without a pillow...why make things hard yourself. On our two week trip to Cali this summer Jill and I bought cheap pillows once we got their, made the whole sleep thing much more cushy. We left them at the Meadows Grill...hope somebody picked them up and put them to good use!
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

I try to be a good man but all that comes
of trying is I feel more guilty.

miguels was rediculously noisy. it is nice and quiet down here in georgia. a down bag, crashpad and pillow are all i need for a good nights sleep. especially if i climbed all day.

when are you getting back, Merrick, and how long are you staying? I hope to be back at the Red the weekend of the 25th if my various injuries allow. I'll be down every weekend and every Wednesday once I'm healed. We need to climb!

I'm also going to try to get to Boone for some bouldering one weekend November, and then may spend all of Thanksgiving week at the Red if it's not too cold already (otherwise I'll probably head to Tennessee). Let me know your plans.

At what time where you sleeping Merrick? I think I met you around 2:30 a.m. at the campfire... wasn't it you that was jumping up and down on the picnic tables screaming "I'm gonna show you Indiana boys how to dance!" I knew we should have cut you off after the Odub performance.
