look. both parties are in the pockets of massive blocks of capital. food, pharmacy, oil, etc.. as a result, all sorts of seriously terrible shit is happening (and has obviously already happened). one party pays lip service to fixing it without doing a very good job (look who pays the bills). the other party actually thinks the terrible shit isn't terrible. in fact, they want to increase terrible shit vis a vis deregulation.
the choice isn't difficult. i'll take lip service about social equality over decontextualized Darwinism any ole day. to be honest, i think we're headed to the same place anyhow (depleted oil, fucked up food supply, massive exploding debt bubbles) but at least this way my gay friends have a shot of being treated like regular people.

Its simple... The Human Being does not have the ability to successfully govern itself. They never have before, and they never will. There has always been wars, crime, sicknesses which we have no control over, etc. No President/politician will ever be able to bring true peace. The only alternative that leaves us, is to look elsewhere....

Consider this: The "outrage" over the video is actually just an outrage over U.S. occupation of muslim lands. We all know it; nobody admits it; and the media is more than happy to comply.
So... is anyone willing to draw the same parallel to the 99% movement? Anyone really believe that Occupy Wall Street was just a bunch of entitled hippies looking for a free ride? It sure got pegged that way in the media. And look how it has already gone away..... nice and quiet-like.

I read these forums mostly for entertainment, and really did not want to get involved in this one, but I can't hold myself back. ATC, I highly recommend reading "My Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn. It will blow your freaking mind!

The trailer supposedly has been out since sometime in July. So yeah, pretext is the right word.
