I can honsetly say that my first experience w/rro was great! I went climbing without them (my mistake!) I was lost trying to find the crag, tripped, fell & got a 2nd degree ankle sprain. Couldn't walk at all. I tried putting my arm around my partner & hopping, but that didn't work when I got to a steep ravine. Along comes RRO after a day of climbing. They stopped to help me & lowered me down the steep incline. then carried me & my gear on my way out! (and I'm not a petite 100 lb climber!) all this and that was before I was even a client!

Since then I have climbed with every guide they've had. All are excellent, professional, and fun people. I have also stayed in every cabin they rent. My favorite is the honeymooners cabin, but with your group the climbers cabin may be a better choice ;-)

Can't say anything about the other guide service. Never used them or met them.

If it was me, I go with RRO.

Best of luck to you.

I have climbed with several guides in the southeast and I recommend Karsten Delap: www.karstendelap.com
He works for Fox Mountain Guides.

IIRC he is the highest certified guide in the area and trains other guides as well.
