it was a super dry, cool, amazing spring that provided zero excuses for anyone looking to send (which fortunately I missed most of so I still have excuses), but now it's getting pretty muggy and hot. Rain hasn't been a problem this year, in fact a lot of stuff has been dry that usually doesn't dry out until summer or fall. That said, you might still get fucked by passing t-storms if you're slabbin out at FRC or ESB... plus those crags face due southwest and are way more hot in the PM than a comparable east or north-facing crag.

Tell you the truth, I'm actually a bit more worried about the rain this season. I look at the forecast and I see nothing too encouraging. Is it real bad?
Wet for ten minutes during approach, dry for hours while climbing, wet for ten minutes returning to car. If rain is your concern, perhaps look at Irreverent C. The majority of votes are for 12b and its given 12c. The route will stay both shady on sunny days and dry under downpours. http://www.redriverclimbing.com/RRCGuid ... te&id=1116

One of our best lines, no doubt. For me, it was not "easy for the grade".

Every so often, even a blind squirrel finds a nut.
