Cool thanks Driskol and Meadows. I don't know why I didn't think to look up MV or RRGCC on fb. I'd like to be as proactive as possible so rather than wait around for someone to post something I've put out as many feelers as I can think of and see what bites first. My summer schedule is pretty hectic otherwise I'd just camp out at Miguels until I hooked up with the HNIC (head niggas in charge). I'm all about some trail days, and hopefully can find the dates so I can secure them in my schedule. Until trail days at MV and PMRP I'd still like to help. I found my way to the teamsuck website, and I hope they don't mind if I repost something i copied from their website I thought may be beneficial to someone else. (not that anyone other than the 100 regulars read these posts anyway ;)


How to Climb & other life lessons from Team Suck

1. "The belayer is an active participant in this climbing thing!"
2. Be an Apprentice!, Learn what you're doing from someone who knows!
3. "If you hanging, you should be brushing!"
4. Carry a wrench and quick-links with you, and if something needs to be changed out / tightened, do it.
5. Banana peels and orange peels are trash! They do biodegrade, it takes like 5 yrs so pack it out!
6. Cigarette butts are the reason people hate smokers. Clean up after yourself and your kind.
7. Dig a hole and bury your poo!
8. Pack out all TP that is not buried.
9. Do not toprope through the anchors!
10. Thank your bolters.
11. It’s all about the team, this includes the other people at the cliff.
12. Trail work doesn’t have to be only done on official days.
13. Learn how to give a soft catch.
14. Do the Math.
15. Don’t Fuck It Up.

well, I never got a hold of any spandex for saturday, and I may not even climb then anyway. So help me set a date for the future and If don't find spadex, I go with my back up :twisted:
