Best Way to Spray
I'm right there with you - I like hearing about my friends' successes, and telling them about mine. Telling strangers isn't that fun, because they don't really know what the route/grade means to me.Andrew wrote:This may sound weird, but I absolutely love it when my friends spray. I love hearing what routes they have sent, it makes me really happy to see them succeed.

You forgot Twitter. You mean you don't follow @bcombs on Twitter? Sign up, then prepare for the hose down. Ocho Cinco ain't got nothin' on me. I tweet while I'm resting through the crux. I tweet with my left while the right is locked off on 1/4 pad, sharp crimps on 45 degree overhanging rock. I tweet in a bat hang. I tweet on a hang dog. Just kiddin, I don't hang dog, that's you. I tweet about you hang doggin. I retweet my own tweets so I can see them again. I tweet before the clip and after, so you know what section of the route I'm on. Your gonna love it. Sign up already!

i either
a) fall trying to clip the chains; that way i can say what climb i was on, but it's not actually spraying b/c i didn't send the route.
b) injure myself during the climb
or
c) all of the above
