True story:

I was at a coalition event at Cliff View and Mark Meyers was catering the event. I was shooting the shit with Mark when I noticed he was fishing the pork out of one pan of pork'n'beans. I asked him what was happening and he informed me that he was making "vegetarian" pork'n'beans. A lot of vegetarians lined up for seconds. Karmic Disruption to be sure; the sun still rose the following day, however, and no-one seemed to have been permenantly damaged.
